Bullying the newest social craze!

Have you heard of the new social craze? Its called bullying - getting your way by being unkind, controlling or just plain nasty to another or a group of human beings.

Where did this originate from the bosom of insecurity.  Where did our children, adults and even church members get so caught up into this phenomenon?  I beleive it ooriginates from an un-happy home, a loveless existence, jealousy, greed, resentment.  All of these are bear the stamp of  the original bully.  Recently, in my home a young man was chased by a group of bullies and he ran un-suspectantly into the street and was fatally struck by a car.  It was reported that these bullies were harassing him all of his life. What a shame!  I also see this bad habit raising its ugly head in the church - cliques band together and ostracise others so that alienation steps in.  Sometimes these cliques get so powerful they overtake the leadership of the Church. What can be done? Let us stare these individuals in teh face and say - no more!  We as parents, church members and by-standers need  to get up and recalim our peaceful existance.  We need to snatch our lives back from these!  Isolate the poison - push back on this neagtive behaviour.  Speak to it and call it wrong! Demand that it is stopped in schools - PTA members speak out - lobby the School Boards to take action!  Members of Churches and other groups - use positive peer pressure to make these behaviours abnormal in our midsts.

We need to treat each other as we would want to be treated. Let us start with ourselves and make this world like God cretaed it to be!
