Burning Water As Fuel, Salt Water That Is

Before you go to work today remember to fill the fuel tank with water and add a bit of salt. Check the charge on the battery and you're ready to go.

Stop at the flower shop on the corner, you know, where the gas station used to be, and pick up a bouquet for the office.

Sound too good to be true.... well, it could be just around the corner.

John Kanzius discovered that if he took the radio frequency transmitter being used as a non invasive treatment for cancer and focused it at a test tube of salt water..... the salt water would burst into flame and burn with a fire so hot it melted the test tube. Of course, he was trying to desalinate sea water, not burn it up ad melt the tube, but that is serendipity, mother of all great discoveries....

No, this is not a joke.... it is true... tried and tested by independent researchers all over the world.... it is true.

Salt water.... bursts into flame.....3000 degree flame.... melts test tube....

Go ahead, read it again and let it sink in... It took me several times to get my brain wrapped around the idea.

How.... you say... how is this possible?

Like all great discoveries it seems so simple once you know the answer... Why didnt I think of that?...as you smack yourself on the forehead with the palm of your hand.

Ok.. this is how it works... ahhh....why it works.... whatever...

On a molecular level salt water is formed of atoms of hydrogen, oxygen, sodium and chlorine. The radio waves of a certain frequency disrupt the bonds between those molecules liberating the hydrogen as free gas which burns hotly in presence of the oxygen.... over 3000 degrees.... that is a lot of heat....

Oh yes, ahem.... no carbon footprint.....

Isn't that clever?

US Department of Energy and Department of Defense officials were scheduled to meet with scientists on September 10 to discuss the discovery and the possibility of research funding.

Is it possible we can replace oil with salt water?

Whilst youthful my Joy included Scotch.

I actually quit drinking, became a tee-totaler, Designated Driver, nearly 30 years ago. But in the olden days I enjoyed Scotch -- and only pure everclear white moonshine tasted as good; otherwise corn liquor, the common bourbons -- were way too sickly sweet tasting for me to enjoy. To accommodate my taste, when no one had Scotch, I would sip a whiskey sour. One of my uncles also had a passion for Scotch; and his son used to say, "He likes that damn cheap Scotch when he can afford the good stuff." I agreed with my cousin, but said it was still better than bourbon blends, cheap Scotch though it was. Your "Water to Wine, I read some have done this! Early on, I must say, I coulda been a wino. I coulda been somebody! Actually, I think the best wines are better than any Scotch, and better for you, too. Alas, I drive and do not drink. On the burning salt-water, even if it is not near the vacuum of quantum physics -- maybe it will help end the oil problem! Imagine having signed long term contracts for delivery of oil and they are gradually (quickly?) worthless. Wanna presence in Iraq? Lets see how quickly this disappears. Last week Dr Roy briefed DOE and DOD, told them to get with this, and get aboard. He explained there is something going on here and the need to find out about it. Will big multinational oil interfere? Maybe there is a happy ending! I had to leave the wine alone. Darn it.

If anyone figures out

how to make that 'turning water-to-wine' alchemy work, please send me the recipe. I'd be very interested in it if the resulting wine is of decent quality (but if if tastes like Boone's Farm or Richard's Wild Irish Rose, better to leave it as water).

Right now, CO2 emissions, world wide exceed biological capacity

I applaud your sentiment, viz: biological sequestration of carbon, but the reason we have an incredible excess of CO2 is that extant biological systems cannot absorb or sequester the Carbon emitted. To further exacerbate the problem, as the ocean warms it will not retain the CO2 it has sequestered. There is as much as 800 years in the lag. Then the CO2 comes out of the planet's oceans and into the air. I too favor biological sequestration but realistically see it as a futile hope without some serious bioengineering and serious gene modifications tailored to our situation, as well as preservation of the biomass doing the sequestering. What I really really favor is an economical and efficient means of splitting the O-C-O bond and the capture of the Carbon and its fixing into a pure form fixed and manageable form. Such Carbon forms as buckyballs, buckytubes, buckysheets, carbon fibers, graphite or soot or diamond to suggest some of the elemental forms) or perhaps sodium or calcium carbonates or other carbon solid compounds, even long lasting tree roots or trunks. The amount needing removal from the air is at least 80 ppm, though I would hope more would be extracted, since the IPCC and others are thinking of doubling the current volume in the air. (Imagine 760 ppm or more, say 1%, at 1000 ppm.) Surely you see that as a potential problem? Current ocean warming thwarts even the biological response of the ocean, since warm water will not hold as much CO2 as cold water, and in fact a possible additional 80+ ppm or more is likely to be reintroduced into the air as the air temp warms 4 C. or so. It takes time to warm the deeper waters -- at least 400 to 800 years. So, I think we will see CO2 levels rise greatly even after the use of fossil fuels stops, simply because of the warming our anthropogenic use of fossil fuels has already initiated. I have posted here on Xomba about these things -- even the fact that you and I exhale enough CO2 in a year to create a diamond of nearly one cubic foot size, each. As a rough yardstick, human exhalations produce carbon on the scale of roughly 6.x billion cubic feet per year. All from the Carbon in our food. So that said. We will have to build machines to suck the CO2 out of the air and sequester it. And we will have to build them and operate them using non fossil energy sources. Imagined making twinklies cup cakes and zwingers (yeah spelled different not to offend the mfgrs.) out of the huge amount of C we pull out of the air. It is not unreasonable to use deep, deep ocean sequestration of CO2, but it tales engineering on war-footing scale. As I have said, public hangings for politicians and corporate masters responsible might be the quickest way to reverse attitudes. Population control through engineered pandemics is also an attractive 'concept.' Sure, we might do it a better way. Suggestions? Time's running out for the population we have. On the burning of salt water! I like the idea and hope to see the various labs work out the physics. I remember Cold Fusion, not with too much disappointment, since I think and hope that and this process leads into new physics, and turns out to suck energy from places like the zero point or the vacuum of quantum physics. I also hope the inventor succeeds in his cancer treatment and own Cancer treatment application and that the trials at the Anderson Center in Houston demonstrates a successful outcome for the treatment -- no matter what "efficiency" is accomplished in the cancer treatment phase. Dr. Roy feel this is the real thing -- and I hope he is right and that oil and need of oil goes away. It is great to use oil for lubricants and food, but not to burn to CO2 and force the heating of the planet.

Alchemy Works For Me

Alchemy works for me. Lead to gold..... salt water to oil... Its only magic...ahem...science.... I personally believe that C sequestration will be accomplished with a biological solution.... Thar be dragons there.... Angel

I understand the allusion. However, I am warped to think of it differently. Alchemy turned into the "science" of chemistry, and if you recall your lab manuals they had little secrets known since the days of the mystical chemist. Anyhows, the use of a similar approach with RF and Liquid CO2 doped with what, might yield a nice way to gather the carbon and prepare it for sequestration. nice eyes open piece of work. Serendipity. End of Oil?

Would it not be nice to see the end of oil? The end of Pubs dream of a greatly polluted carbonized air? Right now, the research possibilities need to be explored and the process understood and developed. We do not get something for nothing. I want to point that out, that it is not getting something for nothing. (Which if god tells the truth, is forbidden by his own rules.) So this reminds me of my buddy Mike, and Mike's experiments with salted water in his ham radio room/lab when we were kids. We never used RF, or directed microwaves, and radar ranges were just beginning to be be built, but we did touch on this in theory. We never burned/melted any glass tubes or jars. But we did make lots of H2. And O2. Now, I have asked for the research pursuit of a similar means of breaking the CO2 bond with RF, you know, liquefying the CO2 and keeping things pressurized and cool, to separate and sequester the C away from the O2.
