Bush Speaks on Chinese Future, Economy and Human Rights

US President George W Bush has expressed "deep concerns" over China's human rights record in a speech on the eve of the Beijing Olympics.

He praised China's economy but said only respect for human rights would let it realise its full potential.

Bush is more of an example of what NOT to do

I find it ironic that Bush of all people should be telling the Chinese about human rights, a stable domestic economy, and about creating a future for their people. His presidency has been marked by human rights violations (torture, bombing civilians, illegal invasion of sovereign countries), wrecking the American economy (crippling the dollar, overinflating the budget deficit, spending billions of dollars every month in Iraq and Afghanistan while our own citizens starve in the streets), and destroying our economy and putting us on the brink of an economic depression that will make 1929 look tame in comparison. No, Bush's legacy is set. He doesn't need to be monkeying around Beijing looking to add to it. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
