But I'LL Discuss the Elephant in the Room!

The writer to whom I was commenting below was afraid/too-lazy to discuss the content of his `Blurb

I there 'dared' him to, but here's the long-and-short: a Dali show at an art museum features Dali's depiction of young Shirley Temple as a maneating media-monster worshiped by the Great Unwashed.

That reminded the writer of an old English movie reviewer who wrote in his `paper (which was bankrupted by the resulting lawsuit from Shirley Temple-etc.) that blatantly pointed-out the paedophilia-ic attractiveness being accentuated in order to play upon the paedophilia-ic tendencies of the human male (if not female).

I think it's the productive nature of Man: people are apt to follow whatever awakens any possible -philia, film-producers are paid more for more viewers; thus film-makers wisely feature things that will draw in more viewers! Simple business!
