Camping what to bring and how fun it can be.

Camping can be a fun activity and a way for an inexpensive getaway.I have always loved camping. When I was a kid my parents used to take us my brother and I every year to a couple of different campsites. So we could see different places and choose which campground we liked the best.First thing to do is go on the computer and online and type in the search box campsites near where you live or in other states around where you live. After you find a site or 2 ther should be a phone # on the website your on and call for prices each day you would like to stay there and what part of the month you would like to go.I think camping is not to fun in the winter because it is too cold, its better in the spring or summer. If you live in an area that is mostly warm 12 months of the year then you can choose anytime.Call the campsite up and make reservations for how many days you want to go for and when and get directions and they will tell you where your site is in the campsite. When the time has come for you to go and you finally get there without getting lost. The campsite will have an office you pull up next to it and tell them your name and they will give you site # or adress and you pay for your site.If its your first time camping and just want to test it out choose a campground that is close to where you live, and if you do not care for it you can easily go back home. But what I think the best way is to find a place at least a few hours away and just plain old get yourself used to it because it can be fun.Don't constantly think about why you would rather not be there.Be happy because your with family or friends and go together to find fun things to do. The camping equipment you would need are a camping tent to sleep in,Get 1 that will hold the people you are taking,an air mattress to sleep on in the tent because the ground is not that comfortable, cooler with ice put the food in the cooler so the food stays cold, camping pots and pans, grilling utensils to flip burgers and hotdogs, food like hot dogs, hamburgers or whatever you want, paper plates, cups, plastic spoons forks,a grill to cook your food,a few fold out chairs and fire wood for those nights near the campfire, swim suits and you will need clothes too,the sites have bathrooms available with showers. Some of the activities that are at campsites are swimming at a lake or pool, fishing, walking around the campground, campfires at night, bring your bikes,im sure there will be activities you can do outside of the campsite and there's more but you get the idea. Some campsites might have more activities or less. Its up to you to find out the best for you. I hope this will help you out if you want to try camping as a little vacation.Check out my other xombytes maybe there is info you could use.Go to http://www.xomba.com/user/fitzs

Campy

My mother and father were what I like to call frugal. So we did lots 'o camping when I was young. Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennesse, Kentucky were our frequent destinations. We used anything from tents to a old ratty pop-top camper.
