We just went to my cousin's house the other night. They just had a baby - October 20. So it was less than 3 weeks old. So guess what the topic of conversation was on the way home. That's right.

"I want to have one of those" and "when are we gonna have one of those" and "we better have one soon or just forget about it." I knew that was gonna happen, so I was prepared. I had nothing to rebut with because I had the same feelings. It's not like I don't wanna have a little brat. I do. I really do. Someday. I just want to be sure that we're stable enough to have one when we do have one. We're moving 2500 miles away sometime in the very near future...the sooner the better. We can't have a brat before we move. It would be so hard to move cross country with a little baby and 3 cats. But I do want to have one. I really, really want to have one. I mean, there's gotta be someone...or something....to carry on the awesome genes of Chad (last name left out to adhere to Google rules). I would be doing the world a great disservice if I didn't at least provide the masses with another little me. I'd like to provide the world with a plethora of little mes, but I'm sure Diana wouldn't go for that. Besides, I need somebody who is about as mature as I am to keep me company.

I refused to hold their baby. I hope I didn't hurt their feelings. I don't like holding other people's babies. I'm afraid I'll break it. Especially when it's that little. The whole flopping neck thing scares me. I'm afraid I'll forget to support that head and "SNAP!" there it goes - rolling across the kitchen floor. So I don't really like to hold babies. Well, I love holding babies...I'm just afraid to. They're so little and cute. The tip of my finger was bigger than his whole hand. I offered him some of my sesame chicken....but I guess without teeth, he couldn't really have any. His name is Luke. I always wanted to be named Luke. That's such a cool name. Luke Skywalker. That would've been my name when I was younger if I could've named myself. But I got over that...a couple months ago.
