Can your password be hacked in less then 4 seconds.

Are you guilty of creating simple passwords. Did you know that a 6 character, all letter password can be hacked in seconds. Technology in todays world is outstanding and in the wrong hands can do allot of damage. Especially now that many people do every thing from talk to friends, work, and bank online. Personally my problem with writing complicated passwords was that I could not remember them. The following is an article that explains how to make a password that is simple to you but difficult for the hackers.

Learned the hard way.

I agree with all above. I use to have the same password for everything, but had to learn the hard way. http://www.ehow.com/members/amylaine.html

Passwords

And the longer the password, the better. Each added character increases the number of possible letter/number combinations, making the password harder to crack.

Alphanumeric is the way to go

Any combination of letters and numbers 9-12 characters long is secure mathematically from what I understand. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Scary

That is so scary... and I am guilty of using the same password for many things... so I don't get confused...lol Thanks for this advice... Angel
