Canadian Government Spends Nearly $100,000 to Buy Back Auctioned Off Items!

Oops! The Canadian government accidentally sold off a number of precious silver mementos that were on loan from Buckingham Palace. The items were sold on the online auction site, Crown Asset Distribution. When the mistake was found out, the Federal Government spent nearly $100,000 recovering the previously auctioned off items. The government hired appraisers to determine how much they would pay to the buyers from the auctions to recover the prized possessions. Many of the auction buyers were handsomely rewarded for reselling the items back to the government. Read more about the escapade at the following location:
