TERMINATORº is awesome because it's an update on the book of "Revelations."

That is to say: TERMINATOR tells you 'how the world is going to end' at the same time as it tells you 'how the world is going to continue persistence'.

In both cases ("Revelations" AND TERMINATOR), the 'end' happens as a result of the created-things' rebellion against their creator. And in both cases, the 'continuing persistence' happens as a result of the creator's inspiration from within the created things' ranks.

ºTypically, Cancerians are homebodies; so 'Cancerian goes a`courtin' is really more like 'Mr/Mrs. Right finally finds the Cancerian and comes over.' I mention the "THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" because–while I love that one as well as all of its sisters, -aunts & -grandmothers–I'm willing to 'settle down' with this one and devote my feelings about the whole franchise to "THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" alone.

And I also mentioned "THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" because it features Lena Headey and Summer Glau (... and Thomas Dekker,if he's what you're built-for). Sure, Linda Hamilton and Kristanna Loken (and Schwarzenegger) were/maybe-are attractive; but they are not hot by definition, and are thus outdone by "THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES"
