Carrie Prejean, former Miss California is suing pageant contest organizers for religious discrimination. Prejean was dethroned after photos of her were discovered which were apparently in violation of pageant rules. Prejean maintains that the problems only came to light after a verbal attack on her character by Perez Hilton during the Miss America pageant.

Carrie Prejean, you may remember was the center of attention following her stance against gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant. The question was asked of Miss Prejean by gossip blogger Perez Hilton, and was considered by most viewers to be nothing more than a cheap publicity stunt used to draw attention to himself and his own views on gay marriage. Perhaps Carrie Prejean should be directing her legal angst at Perez Hilton.
