There must be something funny in the water in Hollywood these days, because there's been a whole spate of moves and news from The Beautiful People in the last couple of days. Maybe the recent Golden Globe awards have reminded the stars that Oscar season is now in full swing, so it's time to clear out unwanted distractions and lovers, get in some sniping at their critics, and get their stories straight for all those Oscar interviews they'll be doing.

Dr. Burke, Heal Thyself: Isaiah Washington, the Grey's Anatomy star who seems to have trouble containing his anti-gay comments, has announced that he has "begun counseling" to deal with his problems. It's not clear whether he's receiving counseling as an outpatient or has entered some facility.

Washington said in a statement, "I appreciate the fact that I have been given this opportunity and I remain committed to transforming my negative actions into positive results, personally and professionally." Translation: My agent told me there are a lot of powerful gays in this town and if I don't put the ixnay on my comments, my career is going straight down the crapper.

Grey's Anatomy producer Shonda Rhimes said everyone working on the show would continue to "make the best television we can." Translation: We hope we can put this dust-up behind us so we can all go back to making money hand over fist.

Anne Heche Splits from Husband: Actress Anne Heche, who formerly had a much-publicized romance with Ellen DeGeneres, announced that she is separating from her husband of five years, Coleman Laffoon. Ironically, they met while working on a documentary about Ellen DeGeneres and her return to stand-up comedy. Maybe Heche got tired of the ribbing that comes from being married to someone named Coleman Laffoon?

Heche is currently playing a relationship expert who moves to Alaska in the TV series "Men in Trees." DeGeneres has her own talk show and is starring in an American Express commercial with a bunch of barnyard animals.

Ivana Say that You're Both Idiots: Everyone except for Osama bin Laden has commented on the Donald Trump/Rosie O'Donnell feud, so why not Trump's first wife, Ivana? Appearing in Paris at a fashion show with her current boy toy, The Famous Original Mrs. Trump said The Donald and Rosie were playing up the spat for publicity purposes. She recently advised the two to "take the high road" in her recent advice column in the highly respected National Enquirer and Globe tabloids.

"Donald and Rosie, they're getting fantastic ratings, they're getting publicity, they're really using it as a marketing tool, not because they are enemies, and I understand that only too well," Ivana wrote.

Ms. O'Donnell had no comment on the matter; neither did Mr. Trump or his combover.
