On a sad note, Hurricane Ike damaged the Cynthia Wood Mitchell Pavilion which prompted Buzzfest in 2008 to be cancelled.    The venue was subsequently rebuilt and was the home of Buzzfest XXII where Korn, Blue October, and other alternative bands were the headliners.   Buzzfest always brings in top quality Alternative Bands along with some newbies.
