Cheap travel

Cheap travel

I have done quite a bit of traveling, and I want to share
with you what I think is the best mode of travel.    It’s easy, and when you consider what
you’re getting, it’s cheap too!

Cruising.   < span>For you
veteran cruisers, you know what I’m talking about.   For those of you that have never done it,
you should try it at least once.   It is
one of the most relaxing ways to travel.

Once you board your ship, you can let someone else do all
the driving.   Someone else does all the
cooking.   You can either kick back and
relax, or pick one of the activities happening on the ship.   If you’re a night person, there are always
different lounges you can hang out in to socialize and dance with other
cruisers.   If you’re a day person, then
take the opportunities to explore foreign ports, take organized tours, or just
hang out on an exotic beach all day.

I like to do the tours.
They are usually well-organized and a great way to learn a lot about an
area in a short amount of time.   And of
course you are given ample opportunity to acquire souvenirs to take home.

Food is available twenty-four hours a day and of course
included with your fare.   It used to be
there were certain nights you had to dress formally for dinner, but many of
today’s cruises offer casual dining every night.   The formal dinner is usually in the main
dining room as an option, but there will be a buffet set up somewhere else, or
other restaurants within the ship.  Room
service is an option if you want to be extra casual.

Alcohol is in ready supply, and will add considerably to
your shipboard bill if you aren’t careful.
However, most ships have no rules about you bringing your own alcohol
with you.   If you bring a special bottle
of wine to have with your dinner in the dining room, there is a fee, usually
around $10.00.

Gambling can be another money pitfall if you aren’t
careful.   Ships love for you to
patronize their casinos.   If you have a
gambling problem, then it might be better for you if you don’t cruise.

You need to keep in mind that there are tips expected from
you at the end of the cruise.   The
information that comes with your cruise will give you some recommended
guidelines so you don’t have any unexpected expenses.   Exceptional service should get more.    If you get really great service from one of
the people serving you, you should tip them daily, which will make them want to
keep up the good work.

All in all, cruising is a great value.   Hassle free travel, food, and service all at
one low price.   Ships like to sail with
a full passenger load, so great deals are easy to find.    They are all over the internet.   You can get extra low prices if you are
flexible and able to book a cruise at the last minute.

Bon Voyage!
