Chen Xiexia of China Wins First Gold Medal

Chen Xiexia, a weightlifter, of the host country China has won the first Gold medal of the day in the Beijing Olympics making their country proud.She clinched the medal while also setting a new record in the 95Kg class with a 117Kg clean and jerk.
