Chest compression only CPR or Hands only CPR, gaining ground

I believe that most of us are hesitant to provide CPR considering that we always have the fear of having or being infected with a disease. A new guideline has been release which now gives the CPR provider and option to provide chest compression only CPR or hands only CPR. There are certain things that you should know however before doing this procedure. It would be best to read the whole guideline from this link: http://circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/reprint/CIRCULATIONAHA.107.189380

Several studies have indicated that the moment a person goes into arrest, there is still oxygen in the blood and doing chest compression only may save the victims brain from suffering brain damage prior to the arrival of the EMS.
