It is interesting to think that women have so many areas of life they have to overcome. So many things they face in fear and come out of with growth and knowledge unexpected. Childbirth is one of those issues.

As a mother of 3, and a woman who knows what it is to miscarry, talking about the introduction of life into this world comes easy to me. There is pain, you become scared of the unexpected, fearful of what might be. You worry about the child inside you, is it growing right? Does it have enough oxygen? Will it be healthy, have all of its fingers and toes, grow in love? You worry about your body, can you even give birth to a baby over 8 pounds?

All questions and concerns are warranted because problems do arise but, women overcome obstacles everyday. The reality of this is found in the fact that millions of humans walk this planet on a daily basis and that is because of childbirth.

Besides, once you overcome that fear, the other side of it is rewarding and amazing. You get to hold that beautiful baby in your arms for the first time, and that is when true love is born.
