China Blocking Internet Access to Pro-Tibet Music: Apple iTunes Store Blocked

The Apple iTunes store carrying the pro-Tibet benefit album, “Songs for Tibet” which includes songs from big name artists such as Sting, Dave Matthews, Moby, John Mayer, Duncan Sheik, Ben Harper, Alanis Morissette and more cannot be reached by internet users in China.

This became apparent shortly after it was brought to light that dozens of Olympic athletes downloaded the music.

It appears that the Chinese government may have blocked iTunes, and portions of Amazon and YouTube links displaying the pro-Tibet content.
