Chuck Norris supports Mike Huckabee Commercial
posted November 20, 2007 - 12:41amI'm pretty blown away by the "new media"-style of (hopefully) viral commercials presidential campaigners are creating.
Granted, the ones who use this type of humorous, viral and pop culture-inspired type of online advertisement are the guys least likely to win. But still, it's odd to see these serious politicians in jokey commercials. These kinds of commercials may get your name out there, but would you ever want to see someone who has a mock endorsement from Chuck Norris become the Commander in Chief of the United States.
No.
The first one of these I saw was of Christopher Dodd in which he and his interviewer joked about his hair and the white rabbit that sat on his desk.
This one (below) is for Governor Mike Huckabee, and stars Chuck Norris.
Norris, who has enjoyed a rebirth in popular culture, does a pretty good job in the commercial.
But if you are using this strategy to get your name out there, you probably have no chance to win.
