Classification of Spanker ... and Why Xomba's Better
posted June 7, 2007 - 6:48pmI'll skip the spanker-classification (blurbed), and get straight to the 'Why Xomba's Better' (which I mentioned there and several other places).
I said here before that Xomba lets us writers leave an article 'satisfactory unfinished,' that I can stop mid-sentence, save this, and it shows up in my list (of course letting me finish when I get `round to it).
AssociatedContent doesn't let you do that (if you save your content 'unfinished,' it won't display it until you come back and finish), because AC is an online "publication." Once you "submit" it to the website, it is "from" the website (and you are one of the website's writers).
With Xomba, you're a "real" writer—i.e. not an "imaginary" writer, one who must've had a whole mess of ideas, all at one time, and who snapped your fingers and POOF! the text appeared, was edited and formatted instantly!
Xomba knows that's not possible! They know that the ideas come in as many parts as the ideas come, and Xomba lets you catch the ideas as they fly to you!
