Climbing The Highest Mountain - Reaching The Top

Climbing The Highest Mountain - Reaching The Top

I have yet to climb the highest mountain in the world, but I have climbed the highest in this part of the world, Mount Kinabalu. Initially I thought I could not make it and in fact, many thought they could not make it either or would give up along the way.

Many thoughts run through my mind as we challenge the mountain.

#1 - The task of reaching the top began with the first step and then the next step. Really achieving a great accomplishment is a combination of many steps, and all began somewhere with the first step. Somehow like fixing up a 1000 piece puzzle, the entire picture is being put together through putting together one piece at a time and joining them up altogether. Press on and not give up.

#2 - Reaching the top is not one man's effort. Sometimes the push behind each step up the mountain was just because we had someone else encouraging us along the way. Their words made a difference. Their words form into energy within to make that next step and the next until the top. Teamwork sometimes is forgotten at the end when we recognize the driving force of that one leader that got the success. Honor the team.

Of course, there are other forces and factors that get us climbing up the mountain like equipment preparedness and personal fitness. In whatever mountains we may be climbing, take one step at a time and climb it together.

Thank you

Being at the top can be quite lonely. Thanks for the tip.
