Hillary Clinton has accumulated over $20 million in campaign debt so far. This amount includes around $12 million out of her own pocket, which she is not looking to get back.

In an attempt to gain the support of Clinton's financial backers, Obama has stated that he will enlist support to help Clinton pay off her campaign debt, personally cutting her campaign a check for $4600.
