In response to rumors that combining Coca-Cola and the flavor enhancer monosodium glutamate (MSG) can be used as a 'date rape' drug that works as an aphrodisiac or can be used as a 'date rape' drug, the Coca-Cola Company published a statement dispelling the myth.
