CODPIECES FOR SALE!

You'll have seen for yourself in your local, regional and national newspapers that there's a new section in the classified ads or Buys and Sells. The new section is totally devoted to the buying and selling of codpieces.
The fact is, that there's simply not enough codpieces available to fulfill the huge demand for them. This means the prices are going through the roof. A plain codpiece - nothing special - cerise with a giant P embroidered on it went for £2,500 (around $4,000). More spectacular codpieces - those made by Brit artist Damien Hirst and decorated with diamonds for instance - are commanding prices way in excess of £1 million! For reasons unknown, many of the most outrageous codpieces are being bought as gifts for Libra men!

Damien Hirst: "I can't make em quick enough!"
Interviewed by Wilma Proops about the phenomenon, Damien Hirst said yesterday:
"Codpieces took me completely by surprise but now I've discovered them and seen their creative and expressive potential I'm churning them out. The fact is, I can't make em quick enough! Today I've had an order for three based on that ridiculous diamond encrusted skull I made a few years back"
With demand as high as it is, it comes as no surprise to Crime Prevention Units, to see codpiece fraud on a massive scale. "Yesterday", cited PC Plodster of Scotland Yard, "this Hirst bloke mentioned skull codpieces, today we impound three dozen fakes in a Flea Market up the West End!"
If you can't afford the current high prices for your own codpiece but simply (due to the pressure of being a fashionista) MUST have one - you can always make your own! Indeed, if you have sufficient diamante chips and some left over gear from Halloween or Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations - you could even make one based on Hirst's famous piece - we have forgotten the name of but is reproduced (c/o Wikipedia) below. I told Myrt she probably had no need for one, but, she wondered if she could enter it on either end?
