Cold Reception

President Bush and Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert will be descending upon the downtown Chicago area (the Chicago Hilton and Towers on Michigan Avenue to be exact) tomorrow afternoon/evening to attend a Republican fundraising gala.

In other news, Chicago is also due to receive record-setting cold temperatures in the next few days after several days of very mild, nearly warm weather.

Coincidence?

Chicago sure knows how to give a good reception.

Maybe mayor Daley is importing ice from the North Pole to chill things down for the Republicans.
