In some good retail news the computer software giant Microsoft announced Thursday that they continue their plans to open their own retail stores. They hired some Walmart dude to head up this retail division.

Apple, a chief rival of Microsoft, has long had retail stores that help promote the company's products. But Apple only sells Apple products; Microsoft does not have its own line of computers so it will be interesting to see which companies they use to push their products.
