Common Ties: An Interesting Site for Writers and Artists

I happened upon site called Common Ties a few months back. I've submitted a couple of what the call "jeles", but so far have not had any accepted. They provide a list of 20 questions, for which you provide a short answer. Here are five examples:

What door do you wish you'd never opened?

What is the dumbest thing you have ever done?

What is your deepest secret?

What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

What is the strangest thing your spouse has ever said or done?

Most of the answers are no more than a few lines in length -- 50 words is the maximum word count recommended. If if you have a piece of writing accepted, it is then paired with appropriate artwork, also solicited from readers. Payment for "jeles" is $50; for artwork, anywhere between $50-$125. Artists can peruse accepted writings and submit original creations. If you're a writer with artistic talent, you can also submit artwork along with your writing. It goes without saying that your answers to any of the 20 questions be truthful and not fictitious events. If you don't see a question that speaks to you, you are also welcome to submit your own with the corresponding answer.

The review process typically takes about 2 weeks. You will only receive word from them if your work has been accepted.

Interesting

I don't know if I can use it (English as third language is not easy!), but I will look a little bit around.
