Oregon Rebounds
I need to run on the wind, stand tall in the tumultuous flame, exquisite with grace flying through the sun with limbs outstretched, celebrating my rebirth with the stars- breathe, exhale, whip, dream- the merging river of who I am,
nbsp;and who I can be, strangled by the memory of purity, yet released in my return to it, neither angry nor sad but accepting everything within the limitless space of Soul Palace-glinted & haunted by the green spill shine of easy water flow- do we all hear our songs & dreams possessed by your reflections?
Midnight skinny dips swimming through stars, sprinkled in warm, summer baths. I find rejuvenation in our journeys together pulled away from judgment I have found no other place to be as free than here with you. If I close my eyes I still can teleport to your warm sandy shines laughing like a child standing perfect as pines along your steady breeze freedom breathing- no pollution, executed no more, hated never, loved forever, here & after, longing for more, all my thoughts gravitating toward sweet bliss flow...
I'm counting on you, treasured by many to find the humble smooth magic of your sweet smooth texture to give me grace.
In the slish-slosh current oceanic rolling body all my wounds are healed, jumping from cliffs into pools, liquid sun crashes, burning for conversion, hungry for more travel, finding stardom amongst thirsty local pirate natives. Turning the wheel of adventure landing on sweet Ocean Splash, night runs every night, trekking thru 7 miles of concrete & rock trails a day, hurtling across ocean sky water, dreaming Oregon rebounds-beautiful pirate island paradise.
Through spring vacation eyes-hotties everywhere, cool people teeming out like midnight stars bright & vast, it's nights like these that closes the distance between the Universal heights.
Onslaught of light abound
rushing toward sand
swift eyes made of star nights
find me
bon fires attract people that shine just as bright
shoreline drink off
babes from New York show up & chat
my head swoons twirls burns blooms & shatters
I'm lost in Oregon caves picking faces from my legs like scabs
remembering all of those who shine in the midnight stars of distant pull & yank.
Fire & Float
You left me smoldering in the night,
on the sidewalk my body was a fire show
your tongue was a flame thrower on mine
& i was in need of a river.
hair, soft as summer clouds
eyes bright as lightening illuminating the dark forest of tiger eyes
dancing in your arms the wind sang your name & scraped up dead leaves
that began to float across the moon so even they turned to beauty for a golden moment
before they burned in mid-air & the ashes rose across electric rooftops to settle on
summer petals-
you left me smoldering on a velvet cushion palace yearning for another chance to
catch fire & float across the moon for another kiss, from a flower's smile.
Jail
Burn blood burn
inside these corrupt walls
I see the sunlight but cannot shine here,
time vanishes eventually like tears
I keep pacing back and forth in my mind
I feel the freedom of water in my yesterday and the friends that walked to the shore and smiled with me.
Burn blood burn
boil sizzle sear,
these small windows taunt me like a bully
Oh God I want to kick them out and leap to water,
ease settle smile, cool off burn.
Why am I here?
Do these walls have something to teach besides appreciation?
When I get out I'm going to embrace the sky and kiss the water then maybe move to Mars
where there is no jail- Oh God I need a rocket ship and a compound where my friends and I can live.
Fiery blood burn, turn sun turn
I feel like I'm holding back waves of fiery death rays disintegrating worlds, blowing up jails
so freedom is never held hostage by laws that the greedy make up for the people who are slaves to it.
I long for a justice with no walls that makes the long contempt bleed burn boil sizzle sear turn fiery sun explode, Oh God I miss the water and its reflections on my friends faces, smile settle ease on my mind like a summer sunset, light beauty blood, bleed me
open on these haunting waters, it hurts to look outside.............................
All The Shades Of Blue
I see the layers in the twilight
like I see the layers close inside
all the shades of blue that make up the pile of the sky.
Bring all the pieces back again
to heal the great and terrible divide
lose all sense of yourself scattered like seven shores
across a distant time.
Build the layers by the time your 9
sink in shade, and ride their crimes built there for your spinning mind.
No ones there to help you kid, it's you alone with broken sticks
thrown out to the highway.
It's you against the midnight blue
it's you against all the shades of blue.
What is left for me to find?
I feel so strange at 29
never thought I'd survive
left alone on peril roads-
all my life a broken stick.
Winter blue I fall to freeze and watch the layers encircle me.
What trace, what trace is left to see,
I sing the splinters of my soul
and hope to capture youth again.
Solemn blue I come to you like so many times before,
walk across this broken threshold to see if you can hold me.
Understand that I have been all the shades of you
vanished like a cloud in all your skies I flew.
I take you in to show you me
and all the things I'll never be
Don't you know that it's because of you
I'll never be what can't become the other side of blue,
Don't you know that it's because of blue I'll never be what can't become
the other side of you.
So let me overcome you now
I see the narrow sunlight beam
and wish the seams had never split
but it's too late for a wish
the divide has so much distance now,
and it's too late to get back.
All these left over demons become my layered stack
Eclipse the sun one last time and follow me through the shoots
all the shades of blue changing to everything that is black.
