Confessions of a MIA Blogger

Confessions of a MIA Blogger

I started using xomba with the best of intentions to blog or journal regularly. However life, and working... for pay has of course and understandably side railed me.

I have been writing primarily for Associated Content these past few months http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=408 my member name is dreahwrites. They pay up to $20.00 per article or video submission (with the average pay being $10.00 once you are established).

Most recently, I was hired as a blogger for families.com. I write several posts a day about homeschooling, and one journal entry a week for weight loss. http://homeschooling.families.com/blog/

And then, of course there are individual freelance opportunities.

Writing for money can be fun but it is very hard work and very time consuming. If that is your goal, I want to encourage you to keep it up. I got started just a few years ago writing for a website very much like Xomba and it helped me to hone my craft.

Good luck writers, bloggers, and future journalists!

Common Sense

Most of "make money" stuff is common sense - we just have do it. I went from making pennies a month to dollars per day. It can be done but now I owe nick a beer!

hmmmm

I will keep my eyes peeled for the information on blogging for dollars ~write your plans in pencil and give God the eraser~ I am an artist, writer, and decorator. I love to answer home decor questions, so If you have any, please drop me a note and I will post your answer in my next xombyte!

Getting paid to blog...

This week I'll be posting a completely new update to the Make Money section. It'll show you top to bottom on how to write for money using Google Adsense. We're even icluding some case study done here on Xomba.com. Not to mention how our user ErikDarrell earned 88 dollars in one day off one Xombyte, plus how he crashed our server two days later by bringing a million visitors to the site! If you write using our formulas (that I'll be posting this week) you should be able to average somehwere between 50 cents to 2.00 dollars a day for months per Xombyte. I can easily see why a site would want to just outright purchase content from the user thereby allowing them to keep 100% of the adsense forever.
