Congress Gets Pay Raise???

Congress and the Vice-President received a 2.5 percent pay raise. Now, I ask you, how many of you received a pay raise this past year? How many of you received a COLA (cost of living allowance)? Now on to the good stuff.

How many of us think the congress and the Vice-President deserve a raise? Did they work so hard that they deserve a raise? OR is it that the laws they worked on benefit us so much that they deserve a bonus?

Send your congressperson an email detailing your thoughts on their pay raise (and how much you would like to get one too). Include such things as the details of how you cannot afford to pay for health insurance. Or like the time last month when your car was repossessed right at xmas. Or the details of when you have to find shelter because your home is up for foreclosure.

SPEAK UP PEOPLE. This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. You have a right to be heard. And if you can’t or don’t want to speak up then SHUT UP.
