Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Rep From Ohio Dies From a Burst Aneurysm. She Was 58

Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Democrat Representative from the State of Ohio died at a Cleveland hospital from a burst aneurysm. She was 58.

The aneurysm burst earlier in the day causing a brain hemorrhage which left her with limited brain function. Her condition worsened as the day progressed and she died at 6:12 pm.

She was the first black woman representative from Ohio, served five terms and was chairperson of the House Ethics Committee.
