T.J. Thyne (Dr. Jack Hodgins on Bones) Stars in “Validation” a truly inspirational short film (about 16 minutes) of smiling.

This film is a wonderful depiction of what your smile can accomplish and how validation is important for everyone, even the one validating. Validation exaggerates the time span of cause and effect a bit, but in only 16 minutes it proves a lifetime point. I think it does a fine job with it too.

To receive, one must give. We all hear this, yet tend to forget as we move along in our daily lives. After watching this, it is quite evident that the energy you send out is the energy you receive.

Reflecting on our daily lives, the atmosphere of the day, the people we are around, and our reactions to situations, we can see how our own moods change. Ever get frustrated over things in life always seeming to go wrong or how others treat you? This movie points to the answer of why this is happening to us. We may not ‘know’ that we are sending this energy, but when we realize the way of the universe, we can figure it out and hopefully change the energy we are sending, by changing our attitudes.

When we are positive giving, we will be positive receiving, when we are negative giving, we will be negative receiving. Energy is absorbed by each one of us, whether we realize it or not, we even ‘steal’ energy from others when we are feeling a bit low.
