Could Heath Ledger Playing Dark Character Joker in Batman Movie “Dark Knight” Cause his drug overdose ?
posted January 25, 2008 - 9:19amHeath Ledger age 28 was found dead in his room. But articles are still unclear of what may have actually caused his death. Although some evidence was found of some form of substances in his system. It is not known if it was accidental due to the mental state after making the movie. Before his death heath gave and interview mentioning that after playing the character the Joker, in the movie “Dark Knight” ,who was a schizoid psychopathic sort of character that he had trouble sleeping only getting in two hours of sleep and needing to take prescription drugs that still didn’t seem to help him. It leaves the question did Heath take substances that he thought would help him with sleeping. What also seems to elude to the problems caused by the joker character was a statement that was made by Jack Nicholson in the NY Daily News article “that he warned Heath” to read more http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2008/01/24/2008-01-24_jack_nicholson_warned_heath_ledger_on_jo.html. What probably makes the comment concerning is that Jack Nicholson also played the Joker in a Batman movie in 1989.
