Exactly...the free market will handle it. Who has the right to tell people what is allowed to be said? Obviously there is an audience for these personas. They can say whatever they want. Do they deserve that right? Sure...they are free, American citizens, just like you and me. What makes this argument "age old" is the fact that we constantly have people wanting to silence others that disagree with them, or they feel that the language being used is "offensive". If you truly believe in the first amendment, then you must be willing to accept all the consequences that come with it, whether you agree with another's speech or not. If station managers and advertisers want to pay for their opinions, then so be it. You have the freedom to not listen. Are you the judge of who deserves to be on the air and who doesn't?
