Countdown to Jail Time Miss Hilton? Miss Hilton?
Countdown to Jail Time Miss Hilton? Miss Hilton?
June 4th is the deadline for Miss Paris Hilton. It is the day she is to report to jail to begin serving her 45 day sentence. I can hear the sweat trickling down her back as I type this. In fact, I think I can even hear her ranting and raving at the "injustice of it all". WAH!! Let us recap.....
No better question has been asked than the one asked on Nancy Grace (news show); "after her court hearing in which it was deemed that Paris Hilton had violated her probation not once, but twice; Why was she not carted away immediately, in handcuffs, and thrown into jail to begin serving her 45 day sentence?"
In any other court with any other person whose name is NOT Hilton, that defendant would have been led away, in cuffs, to the nearest detention facility to begin serving sentence. Paris Hilton, however, seems to be still receiving preferential treatment which completely undermines the sentence handed down by the judge (good call there Judge but unless you go the full distance by ordering her to begin serving sentence immediately, you're still giving her the sense that she is ABOVE THE LAW!)
With On/Off Friend Nicole Ritchie-Paris Will Forego Couture in Jail
Paris knowingly violated her probation from a previous initial DUI charge (which was later downgraded-thanks to her lawyers I'm sure- to alcohol related reckless driving! What is the difference? Anyone? ) Anyhow, she was put on probation and ordered to enroll in an Alcohol Abuse class and also ordered not to drive, PERIOD, for ninety days.
She drove anyway, not once, but twice and even signed a document when pulled over agreeing that she was aware her license had been suspended and she understood she was not supposed to be driving. Dipstick! Then, she made no attempt to enroll in the Substance Abuse class by the mandated date and as of her recent court appearance, still had not done so!
Now, Paris is crying foul and blaming her PUBLICIST for her misunderstanding of her terms of probation. She claims her publicist told her she could drive after 30 (not 90) days to go to and from work. Now, mind you, she didn't consult her legal team, only her PUBLICIST. (so she says). In addition, no mention was made as to her excuse for not enrolling in the required class by the court mandated date. Whose fault is that Paris?
The Only Cameras Paris Will See for the Next 45 days Will Be Security Cameras
She thumbed her little, surgically made nose at the court. She swished her non-existant derriere at the law as if she were immune to prosecution and now is fuming over the fact that she must do 45 days behind bars. Well, like I said to Britney Spears in my earlier rant.....Boo Freaking Hoo! Take responsibility for your own actions Miss Hilton. You claim to be so business savvy and smart, you should have been completely aware of your exact terms of probation and there is never any excuse for ignorance of the law.
Your family is petitioning Governer Schwarzenegger to absolve your sentence based on some B.S. that you're some kind of role model for the boys and girls of the world! Again, B.S.! You want to be a good role model? Let me tell you where to start....make a public statement apologizing for your ignorance, you lying, and your prima donna act. Own up to what you did, which was absolutely wrong, and begin your sentence now! Show the world you can be an adult and not just AN ADULT ACTRESS! (yes, I'm referencing your debut into porn! Deal with it.). If you're serious about being a role model, then be the kind of person others can respect and look up to.
I don't see this happening however. I predict you'll continue to whine and cry and throw a major hissy fit and will still end up behind bars where your mouth will get you knocked out by some huge, mean, socialite hating butch named Big Edna!
And Paris...there are no bidet's, hair extensions or manicures in jail. You will have to sleep on cheap 100 thread count (non-Egyptian) cotton sheets and there might just be a bed bug or two! And did I mention the food??????????? Have fun kiddo.
I believe that serving the sentence handed down is the ONLY way Paris Hilton will actually LEARN her lesson. Right now...she's just fighting to avoid it.

Role Models....
Just my humble opinion, but parents should influence their children's role models.
Parents need to not let their children watch trash Tv.
Parents need to talk to their children about celebrities and the truth about many of them.
Parents also need to show the difference between reality and fantasy.
Parents who let children act like Paris Hilton are to blame.
Now I am not defending Paris here, but parents have the responsiblity of raising their children.
As for Paris, she should goto jail. You would, I would and she should.
I agree
Parents should be the role models (and good ones, not bad ones). It is the responsibility of the parents. Paris was spoiled from day one and has been given everything but taught the value of nothing. How sad. Her parents should be ashamed they raised such a brat but they should look no further than the mirror to point the finger of blame.
Paris will have a hard time with her sentence and I almost feel sorry for her because she is completely unprepared for what's to come. Her socialite skills will not serve her well when behind bars.
