Crafty Ways to Recycle and Reuse Old Items 2

You can reuse your toilet paper tubes-

Rather than misplacing your hair ties and hair clips, use a toilet paper roll to wrap ties around, and clip the clips on to it.  Personalize the roll if you please by painting it, use stickers, you could even try markers.< p>

Vegetable oil can shine leather shoes-

It's true!  You do not need to go out and buy shoe polish to polish your leather shoes.  You can use a damp cloth to remove dirt, then run a soft cloth with a large drop of olive oil over the surface of your shoes.  This works just as well as any shoe polish would.

Save any size match boxes-

Match boxes work great for on the go sewing kits.  Place thread, needles, buttons, and pins inside a matchbox and take with you.

Save that six pack holder-

The type of six pack holder we are talking of is the cardboard type with a handle, usually used for a six pack of glass bottles.  This holder which you can easily carry is perfect for filling with plastic silverware, napkins, and condiments to take on a picnic.
