Crafty Ways to Recycle and Reuse Old Items 3

A personal crafty favorite of mine is reusing an old shower cap-

Do you have any shower caps tucked away that you don't even use?  You can usually get a basic shower cap with your overnight hotel stay.  A shower cap can be used to place shoes in when traveling.  Avoid getting other items in your luggage dirty by placing the shoes in the cap when packing them.

Return address labels-

These labels can pile up quickly, so many companies send them out nowdays.  These labels can be used to mark your belongings like books, movies, computer games, video games, and cd's.

Use those old rubber bands again-

Rubber bands, especially the thicker type can be used to wrap around the sides of clothes hangers.  The rubber bands will help keep chamisoles, and sundresses from sliding off of the hanger.

Aluminum foil, who woulda thought-

Rather than trowing away your used aluminum foil, give it a rinse and dry after use.  Fold up and save that piece of foil for your next painting project.  Instead of wasting time tediously taping door knobs, easily wrap the knob with the tinfoil.  Tinfoil is so much easier to remove than tape too.
