Crash Knocks Sarah Fisher out of 2008 Indy 500

Sarah Fisher's bid for an Indy 500 win ended early when a crash with Tony Kanaan knocked both her and Kanaan out of the race. The crash came in the 106th lap.

This was the 7th Indy 500 for Sarah Fisher, who has several times been voted most popular driver by IndyCar fans.

A native of Commercial Point, Ohio, Sarah Fisher earlier this year became a team owner as well as a driver when she formed Sarah Fisher Racing.
