James Boyle, a professor at Duke Law School, seems to endorse my post and theory about ‘Crazy Copyright Laws’. His article in the Financial Times about the Google Books case makes the point that these issues wouldn’t exist if we had a sane copyright law. And he tells us about the price we pay for using Google’s services.
So where do we draw the line between ethical hacking and espionage? Can anyone be judge to that?
What would you do if you find out that it’s not spyware but a big website or organization you trust that is targeting you- spying on you and disrupting your work? Is that still ethical?
