When it comes to creating an online store, there are many
different routes you can take. I have had the most success with Zlio, Cafe Press
and Yahoo! Merchant Solutions. Zlio and Cafe Press are completely free while
Yahoo! does charge a small fee. I started off with Zlio and after i opened all
the stores i could with that i did the same thing with Cafe Press. I STRONGLY
RECOMMEND starting your online adventure with Zlio, it’s by far the easiest to
set up. Below are in-depth explanations of each service and what they offer.



Create a Zlio Store

Zlio allows you to create up to 20 different stores each offering up to 1000
unique items. Choose from over 6 million name brand products, including Ipods,
Iphones, Playstation 3’s, Flat-Screen TV’s from thousands of top merchants like
Newegg.com, buy.com, and even the Apple Store. Choose from about 20 free
templates or create your own to customize your store the way you see fit.





Zlio is by far my favorite when it comes to creating an online store. It’s how I
got my start in the world of making money online. My Zlio stores now generate

Create a Cafe Press Store

Cafe Press allows you to design your own logos and “press” them onto almost
anything and sell them in your store. Your logos can be pressed onto shirts,
mugs, mousepads, stationary, posters, stickers, etc, and you sell them at a
marked up price that you choose. It’s a completely free service, all you have to
do is design a few logos or you could even download any design you like off the
internet. Just don’t violate copyright laws! I have about 5 different Cafe Press
Stores each selling unique artwork in different categories. If you’re an artist
and you want to make some money, put your art on a shirt and sell it to your
friends. It’s extremely easy and there’s nothing to lose considering it’s free.

Yahoo! Merchant Solutions

Yahoo! has created an amazing service to allow anyone to create the online store
of their dreams, although it is the last route I would go. I recommend creating
a Yahoo! store only if you have something to sell. With Yahoo! Merchant
Solutions you can choose professional designed templates, easily choose the
layout of your store, upload custom logos, implement CSS to customize further,
and even create an easy to use checkout system. The only draw back is that it’s
$40/month. If you’re just starting out, I don’t recommend Yahoo!, start off with
the other 2 FREE options, and wait till you actually generate income before you
start thinking too big.
