Dadgummit! I was "that" close!

Dadgummit! I was "that" close!

I've been writing articles for very close to two years now and I have received other AdSense payments before. So, I was looking forward to clearing another $100 threshold and getting paid this month.

There is a sense of excitement that builds when your AdSense account passes $95 early in the month because you can almost see $100. So, I wrote a few more articles and began my article indexing project and figured my existing articles would have enough momentum to carry me over.

Oops.

When the clock rolled from 11:59 on 4/30 to the new month, I was at $99.35 with zero clicks for the last day. I did clear the $100 on 5/1 and will get paid again, but at the end of June as opposed to the end of May. On the positive side, every click I get from today to the end of May is gravy and only adds to the check I will receive.

Lessons learned. When I saw that amount creep closer to $100, I failed to apply the Law of Attraction properly and "see" myself with the money already, trusting that it was already there. I psyched myself out and began AdSense watching, which I advised against in my How Much Money Would You Like to Make Today? article, which sent the message to the Universe that I didn't believe that I would clear the threshold. The Universe, being a dispassionate granter of wishes, obliged me by leaving me short.

Being "that" close may be tough, but it is a gentle reminder of the Law of Attraction and having faith that the prosperity is already there.

Well I have had a weird week

Maybe its just the nature of most of the subjects I write about, but I don't get many clicks and when they do, they are typically 6 cent, or even 1 cent clicks. So these last couple of weeks have been nuts and I have not had chance to write until now and for some reason I have done a little better than normal - I even had a 40 cent day yesterday...wooo hooo! Maybe its all just random - like the universe itself.

Adsense Checks Vs Bank Transfers

In India, the option of bank transfer of the Google Adsense money was not available initially, until recently. Therefore we had to opt for checks. There is no problem in cashing the checks in our banks, that is, no amount is deducted. (Google decides the exchange rate and gives the converted amount in our local currency). Therefore, I just continued the practice of getting checks, and did not bother about the bank transfer. Get money writing articles on Xomba Here

That I don't know - I've

That I don't know - I've always been paid by bank transfer, and that's going back at least 4/5 years. I'm just surprised that Indians are getting cheques - in the UK cashing a dollar cheque is a waste of time unless it's at least $500 because of bank charges and rubbish exchange rates. Are bank deposits available everywhere?

When I started with AdSense nearly two years ago, bank deposits were available in the U.S. and hardly anywhere else. It may have changed for other countries. I have always done the bank deposit EDI method. CLICK HERE TO JOIN XOMBA TODAY!

One question: why are so

One question: why are so many of you getting paid by cheque? I get mine by bank transfer and is always there on the 1st of the next month. Join Xomba Here

great! and congrats

I watch my adsense earnings too, quite frequently and everyday. Mostly, I am not disappointed. I have managed to get a check every month since the first check from working on Xomba. I think I will write a byte on that soon, waiting for my "two years" mark! Happy writing...Jim. Glad you're getting a check soon! Get money writing articles on Xomba Here

Hot dog! A hundred bucks!

Jub this was an excellent and very comfortable article to read. I was actually caught up in the suspense of whether you would make the hundred dollar mark in time. I had been away 3-4 months, I actually wrote very little during that time and still made twenty five bucks, I think that is really cool. You are a good author and at times I enjoy what you write. One way or the other you always make me think. Take care Mr. Jdubhub and keep up the good work. I am sure your article inspires others to write well and often by your example. Eggs. Money To Burn

Ha! That happened to me too

Especially in March, I felt like it was actually ticking backwards that month! I'm an adsense watcher like Idlewild in that I try to monitor what may be doing well but of course, he has 500 channels to work with where I only have a measly 200. May is all cake for you now! Enjoying your articles, Mia Peace, Mia NW

Practicing What You Preach

Great article! It is neat that you can recognize that you went against what you have spoken. I'll be sure to try and practice your strategies- they are so interesting. Take Care and enjoy the check next month :)
