Daily Life in a Thai Prison: Gor Documents His Time in Prison

Now, this is one vacation you WOULDN'T want to take! Panrit Daoruang known as 'Gor' was a promising young writer who had been documenting his life as a Thai teenager online since he was twelve and went on to be the youngest columnist for The Bangkok Post at 16 years of age. Unfortunately his life took a turn for the worse when at 15 he became addicted to a local amphetemine called "yaa baa" (crazy drug). At 20 he was arrested on drug charges and sentenced to 3 years in prison. He has served over two-thirds of his sentence and has just under a year to go. This is a great website which chronicles his experiences from his first day in prison, describes daily prison life and how Gor has become a positive influence by helping inmates that have little or no outside support and also others around the globe who have struggled with drug problems.
