Dalai Lama Defends Islam, and Looks Forward to 'Complete Retirement'

The Dalai Lama appeared at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, on Sunday. In response to a question about "the rise of violent religious fundamentalism", he gave a defense of Islam and stated that he was making a point of reaching out to Muslims, since 9/11. Later, in that same appearance, he added that he was getting on in age and looking forward to 'complete retirement'.
