Damn us girls!

Damn us girls!

Damn us girls!
Wicked little minx
A smile
A stare
A flip of the hair

Pointedly purposeful words
Pass through the lips
Like darts

Damn us girls!
Coy angel dear
A giggle
A sneak
A kiss on the cheek

Perfectly innocent sighs
Escape from the voice
Like harps

Damn us girls!
Exotic sly fox
A saunter
A twist
A flick of the wrist

Carefully calculated moves
Strike from the dark
Like snakes

Damn us girls!
Deep feeling being
A shudder
A gaze
An embrace that lasts days

Profoundly cultivated love
Pours from the soul
Like a river

A clever mix
Of evil and good
They cannot resist
Though they wish they could

Admit it boys,
You like us
You like us!

Wonderful

I really liked the line "A clever mix Of evil and good" This makes me happy to be a girl, kudos!

Thank you, Les!

Glad you liked it! I meant to point out to the others that this was in response to your "DAMN IT WOMAN!" and also written at the request of Antonia.

She Scores!!!

Darn it, Cara! I've read this a number of times, Cara. It grows on one. I smile. I know. And the writer, YOU, like your picture from the cover of a book jacket. I think of the you behind those shades, above the mischevious smile, the beautiful teeth (are those delicate infinitely sharp canines?); the flowing hair, I can see in my mind you whet those lips to dine on those poor gullible (willing) boys. I started to fill this space with an answering echo, but pasted it over to word pad, saved it to work on, and came back to re-read it again. The phrases, the tiny meter, they bring up memories! Again, flashes, (of your picture in my mind), and that of all and all the coy and foxy foxy sexy, sly manipulations Girls use, and that can be used in the relationships game, the stoking of interest, the beginning pathway to the truly evocative, almost provacative spins in a Look. Again a whetting of lips, before WE poor boys are consummed. Later, afterwords, a pleasant digestive warmth. Consumed, a meal complete. I see it, and the hair flip, knowing the interest there. When I see the young signs of Girls and Boys. Good. I'll try to compose. But it may take time, as old and slow as i am. Beautiful? yes. Nice work, Cara. Hey. The shades. Yeah here is one that's never seen the light of day from that metal-hinged note book I should treat like you treated your stuff, but can't. (weak, me) Lite, but there are a few memorable phrases. Looking through the shades removed, from this side. . . seeing in the eyes. Shades, not just yours Cara, but them too. . . What happens when you take off the shades? These TWO know eachother a little. . . ======================== What secrets lie (les porter) What secrets lie behind those eyes veiled from my seeing, hid in deeper niches than I can probe yet -- integral to your being? What thoughts and problems intricate behind those eyes are pondered? Do you contemplate the universe, or in some dream, just wander? Too, I'm curious to read your lips for they do herald your mind -- but unless you speak and say your wish to your thought -- you'll find me blind. There are many ways to speak, you know, but our time, you know -- our time, away just flys so speak once to me with love, then Speak that love to me with your eyes. =========== The shades are great. les

Hit the nail on the head

Love it, Cara! The last two lines make me think of Sally Field...

10!

As Mr. Faith Hill would sing, "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it. I try real hard but I can't live without it." "Never argue with an idiot. The people watching might not know the difference" <script src="

I admit it, I admit it
