posted October 7, 2009 - 8:53pmEvery popular work is bound to have critics. The Da Vinci Code and Brown's other works have had their fair share! Here are some of the worst phrases in Dan Brown's popular books as picked by Tom Chivers of Telegraph. Are they really that bad? Check them out here. Most of the phrases have been picked from The Da Vinci Code. However some of the selections are downright puerile (on Chiver's part!)

have to earn their living too! as they can't really produce best sellers. i liked that part about the mickey mouse watch - can't understand what was so wrong about providing that little detail!

tiresome
I am tired of reading about what a horrible writer Dan Brown is. (Did you like how I ended that sentence?).
The #1 was a joke. That would be like calling Oscar De La Hoya, Mr. Hoya. Or saying Angles rather than Los Angles. Nobody does that. And it is technically his surname so calling him Mr. Of Vinci is technically right as awkward as it sounds. Otherwise his name would be Leonardo Vinci. :)
