Dan Fogelberg's "Same Old Lang Syne," a song about two former lovers meeting by accident around Christmastime, is heard every holiday season. The video, while not an official one from Dan Fogelberg, does combine the song with the lyrics appearing on the screen as they are sung, letting you hear Same Old Lang Syne" while learning the words at the same time.

Dan Fogelberg died Sunday, Dec. 16th at his home in Maine. He died from advanced prostate cancer and was 56 years old. He was known for this soft folk-rock sound and his sensitive, thoughtful lyrics.

"Same Old Lang Syne" came out in 1980 and its lyrics affected a lot of people, Fogelberg has said: he often had people come up to him and tell him the song sounded as if it was written about them.
