I recently wrote this hub warning people about the dangerous of released exotic big snakes in the US. This is a serious issue that some pet owners did not take so seriously, which is why they released their snakes into the wild when they could no longer care for them despite the problems they could create for the local wildlife. Big snakes surprisingly can live in the wild in the United States and they are capable of killing our local animals and they could also pose a risk to small children and pets. They do not belong in our backyards. If you are going to keep large snakes, please care for them properly. And if you can't care for them any longer, please take them to a pet shop or animal control for them to find a new home for your exotic big snake.
