Daniel Radcliffe plays Jack Kilping, the son of author Rudyard Kipling, in a TV adaptation of a stage play about the elder Kipling’s insistence that his young son serve in World War I.

The TV version of "My Boy Jack," shown on PBS Sunday, has gotten a lot of attention for its cast rather than its subject: Daniel Radcliffe, better known as Harry Potter, is Jack Kipling, and Kim Cattrall, one of the middle-aged vixens from the TV series "Sex and the City," plays the wife of Rudyard Kipling.
