I went straight from the pet store to a house. You see I am a 8 week old black bombay kitten. I am pure black with gold eyes and a pink nose. I do have a little white over each eye, for some reason my humans have named me Twilight. They love me because I have a comfy bed and the small humans love to hold and pet me all the time. There is a big girl cat at this house and she never wants to play. I watch her and try to catch her tail but she just swats me away and she sleeps all the time!

She goes to a door and when the humans open it she runs outside. They never take me out there. I hear the littlest human say that I am a baby and will be an "inside" cat. I try to ask the big girl cat what it is like but she just hisses and runs away. Hmmm... I have to figure a way to get out there. I stand at the door and wait. I am fast so I'm pretty sure I can sneak out.

The door is opening... I can see out there.. ah, here I go!
I squeeze out and look around. Oh my goodness it is so loud and everything is so big! I head straight for the dirt and rub my belly and back in it! So warm, ooh.. I hear something in this big, tall thing with sticks and fluffy things coming off of it. I hear the little human calling me. A car goes by and I jump on the tall thing and run up. I hear him say " Mama the kitty is in the tree!"

It is so scary up here! High up in the sky I don't know how I will ever ger down. Humans! Humans come get me!! I want my comfy bed and someone to scratch my chin. I guess I will have to figure out how to get down. Very carefully I stick my claws out and manage to inch my way down, the little one is holding his arms out for me. Yes!! I feel him grab me and hold me close. Thank you!! He takes me back in the house and I see the big girl cat and I'm not jealous anymore. I'll take my cozy, warm house over that loud, scary big place anytime!

It has been a long day! I think I will curl up with the little one for a nap! Mmmmm... I love my belly being rubbed! PURRR PURRR Good night!
