To be honest, I have no idea where this recipe originated, all I
know is that I have been eating it since I could remember. My
grandmother use to make it, and my mother used to make it, and now, I
make it.< p>

If you have ever eaten at a buffet style restaurant called "Sweet
Tomato’s" you will find that this chili almost matches exactly the
"Deep Kettle House Chili" that they sell, which was to my surprise,
because I know my grandmother has been making this chili since before
Sweet Tomato’s was ever in existence. But, that's okay because I love
this chili and now I can go to Sweet Tomato’s and get something that
tastes almost exactly like it.

Give it a try!

Deep Kettle House Chili

Ingredients:

1-2 16 oz. cans Dark Red Kidney Beans
2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
1 Small Stalk of Celery
2 Mince garlic cloves
3 Tsp Chili Powder
2 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Pepper
2 lbs Ground Hamburger or Turkey Meat
1 Bell Pepper (Green)
1 Onion (Yellow or White)

Directions:

Chop and Sauté Onion, Celery, Garlic, Bell Pepper, and meat until
meat browns. Drain fat. Add all other ingredients then cook in pressure
cooker for about 10-15 min after shaker starts.

You may cook this in a standard soup pot; however cooking time
will be much longer. If using a standard soup pot, bring to boil then
boil hard for 10 min, then simmer until vegetables are tender.

(Read Pressure cooker instructions for proper use).
