Recently, I read an article regarding the symptoms of dementia. The information led me to think about my mother and what she went through as she gradually lost her memory. As difficult as that was, there was also the difficulty of watching someone I loved change before my eyes. When someone we know is experiencing the loss of their memory, there are ways we can help make their world less lonely.
